Restaurant High Chair

Tonight we went out to eat and for the first time we put Andrew in the high chair at the restaurant.  He did really great.  I wasn't sure if he was big enough, but he is.  I think maybe I was in denial that he is big enough to sit in one of those chairs.  Actually Averie is sitting up enough to sit in the restaurant high chair too.  I can't believe they are so big. It seems like yesterday we were only 5 pounds.

January Stroll

Bruce came home from work early today.  I know, very shocking.  Since he was home early and it is 65 degrees outside, we took the babies out for a walk.  This jogging stroller was given to us by another couple that has twins also.  Their babies had out-grown it so they asked if we wanted it.  Of course, when you have TWO babies, you do not turn down free stuff.  Anyway, I took the camera with us and took a couple of pictures.  I think the babies are looking so big.  Also, Andrew was sitting up in his bed today and I looked over at him and he had pulled up.  Therefore, we will be lowering his bed tonight!!!

Bath Time Fun

Since Bruce was at home, we decided to give them a bath at the same time.  Averie still needs a little help sitting up, but is almost there, and Andrew can sit up with no assistance.  They were so cute in the bath tub.  Andrew would just flap his hands and kick his feet and splash everywhere.  Averie was just laughing at him and grinning the whole time.  It was fun.

Dancing Girl!!

This is Averie showing off her moves!

Laughing Boy!!

Andrew loves to laugh.  He will laugh at just about anything.  He was really putting on a show last night, so we got out the video camera and captured the moment.

Lynch Family Christmas 2008

These are some pictures that were taken at Christmas time in Dallas, TX.  Bruce's family lives there and we traveled to be with them over the holiday's.

Bouncing on Christmas Eve.  We were getting ready for Santa Claus to come.

Bruce's parents had his medical diploma framed and gave him that for Christmas.
My mom made Andrew this shirt for Christmas.  Averie has one that matches.

Bruce's family all together for a picture.

Thanks Gram....

My mom sent me a package the other day that was full of goodies for Averie and Andrew.  One set of clothes are these fleece warm-up suits that you see here.  She also sent them onesies with their names on them to match the suits.  They were so cute, so I wanted everyone to see them.

Averie still looks funny in pictures because when the camera flashes she makes weird faces.

Quick Visit...

This past Saturday we took a road trip to north Alabama to visit Johnna and Jeremy.  While we were visiting with them my sister, Jill, and her family kept Averie and Andrew for me.  They seemed to have a great time with them.  These are pictures of the twins with their big cousin Jeremiah.

Cute as Pie!!

These pictures were taken a few days ago.  Andrew and Averie were playing on the floor with their toys and I just thought they looked so cute, so I got out the camera to take some pictures.  Averie has on a really cute little yellow outfit.  She has finally moved up to size 6 months.  I know it is hard to believe, but they will be 8 months old this coming Sunday.  They are just looking so grown up to me.  Andrew is sitting on his own, and as you can see, Averie is just about to catch up with him.  Just today I looked in his mouth and tooth number 5 has broken through.  Now he has four on the bottom and one on the top.  She still has only two teeth, but that is due to change at any minute.  To me, they are cute as pie and I just love taking their picture and looking back to see how far we have come.

Matching PJ's

These are the pajamas that my mom made for Averie and Andrew.  Hailey and Austin have matching pajamas.  We were really hoping to get their picture made together, but in the end the holiday season just proved to be too hectic.  Ya'll know how that is right??

Hailey and Austin

Obviously, these are pictures of my brother's twins, Hailey and Austin.  They will be two years old on January 28th.  They are really at a cute age and are sweet babies.  My mother made the clothes that they are wearing.  She is so talented and we are fortunate that she is able to do all of this stuff for our children.  Andrew and Averie have a set of clothes that are just like these.  I have some pictures of them and I will post them later.  Anyway, just thought you might like to see Hailey and Austin.

Takeover....

Okay, so my house looks like baby wonderland.  I have two swings, two excersaucers, two boppy pillows, two bouncy seats, and two high chairs all within reach on the top floor of my house.  I don't understand how two tiny people can take up so much space, but they do.  I keep thinking that we need to move some of it downstairs, but then I think that I don't want to spend all day going up and down the stairs.  Therefore, because I use all of it everyday, we are going to make it work.

Played Out!!!

Bruce put the other excersaucer together last night.  Averie has decided that playing in it is her favorite thing to do.  I took this picture about 15 minutes ago.  Yes, she is asleep in her excersaucer.  She had been in it for about 45 minutes.  She was playing in that and Andrew was swinging in his swing.  All were happy so I went in the kitchen to do some cleaning.  She never cried, so I thought she was still playing.  Anyway, when I came back to the living room I found her like this.  She was so cute that I grabbed the camera to catch her like this.  So CUTE!!!

New Year of Playing Together

Andrew and Averie were given TONS of new toys for Christmas.  They have really started to be interested in toys and so they are really excited every time I put a new toy in front of them.  They like all the new noises.  The toys that light up are their favorite.  Anyway, I haven't posted anything in a while so I thought I would share these photos.  They are sure getting big fast.  It's kind of depressing and exciting all at the same time.
