Crazy Daisy...

Averie wore a headband to church today.  This picture was taken after church.  Obviously the headband had moved around and Averie's hair was really funny.  I think she knew she was funny.  She has really started to develop a cute personality.  She laughs all the time now, whereas before the tubes, she really didn't respond to much of anything.  It has taken a good long time, but I believe we are now seeing the true Averie. 

Big Eaters and Tired of Waiting

I took these pictures the other day.  I am now putting Averie and Andrew in the high chairs for two meals every day.  I still feed them in my lap in the mornings, just because I am not awake yet.  They are doing really great eating their food with a spoon.  They are also starting to take a little juice out of a cup.  

These pictures were actually taken today.  Averie was taking her bottle and being kind of slow. I gave Andrew his juice cup and some puffs to eat while he was waiting.  However, he just got tired of waiting and fell right tot sleep.  Bless his heart!!

Pebbles and Bam Bam

Averie and Andrew LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their excersaucers!!! Their favorite thing to do while they are playing in them is jump up and down.  When they both get going it is loud and HILARIOUS!!  I took some video today, so I thought I would share.

Boy Up, Bed Down....

Andrew has figured out how to pull up in his bed.  Well, he can't do it unless I sit him up in his bed, but still we had to lower his bed immediately.  He did it for the first time while I was in his room, thank goodness, because if I hadn't been in there he could have and probably would have fallen out of his bed.  I am trying to get a good video of him pulling up and when I do, I will post it on the blog.  

Breathe Like a Dinosaur!!

Andrew and Averie have both just completed a 10 day dose of antibiotic.  During this illness Andrew has had some wheezing.  Therefore, the doctor sent us home with a nebulizer machine so that we could give Andrew breathing treatments.  As we were leaving the doctor, the nurse handed me the tube and mask that go with the machine.  Andrew has a mask that looks like a Dinosaur and even though I wish he didn't have to have these treatments, I thought he looked cute.  

First Wagon Ride

Bruce's parents gave Andrew and Averie a Radio Flyer wagon for Christmas this year.  We took the babies on their first ride in the wagon today.  It was so nice outside and they just loved the ride.

This morning I went into the babies room to get Averie up from her morning nap and this is what she looked like.  She has so much hair that she is now having bed-head when she wakes up.  It is so funny.  Therefore, this morning she was in a good mood so I took some before pictures.

These are the after pictures.  She has really developed quite the personality.  The camera is not so novel anymore and I am able to get her to smile.  Thank goodness for hair bows.  

Just Precious!!!!

My grandmother sent Averie and Andrew this toy a couple of weeks ago.  The toy is a Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy that are attached to each other. When you press their hand it plays "I Got You Babe".  It is actually Sonny and Cher singing.  The doll heads bobble back and forth during the song.  It is really hilarious and the babies are mesmerized by it and love to watch it over and over and over.....etc....  Today I sat them up on the floor and they were watching the dolls sing and Averie started crying.  I don't know if he was playing or really understood that she was upset, but he reached over and put his arm around her.  I just thought it was the most precious thing I have every seen.  Luckily, I had the camera sitting right beside me.
